...protect the interior from the sun and other elements. Whenever the car is parked for a long time, it's either in a garage, or has it's car cover on it. Having a windshield shade and tinted windows helps a lot too. I'm really carefull getting in and out of the car, avoiding the side lumbar and side leg supports since these seem to wear out fast as I've seen in other Z's. Time to time I'll wipe down with Meguiars wipes and leather care products, but I never over do it. I like the Meguiars products because of the quality and decent smell. Other than that I just wipe the dust off the dash and seats with a clean terry cloth. I always vacuum the carpets, tap my shoes off before I step in, and never keep food in the car, or if I just picked up some food, keep it sealed in plastic with the windows down, just to maintain that "new car smell" going and protect the seats and carpets. I never wear suspenders or anything with metal clips, buckles, rivets, or sharp objects that could scratch or puncture the leather, I (or any girlfriends) never eat or smoke in the car, and I never leave the t-tops off when it gets too cold or humid late at night. Sounds over-disciplined I know, but I really want to maintain the condition that its in right now, which feels like pretty normal procedure to me. But I think the most important thing for the interior is keeping the elements out, especially the sun and moisture, whenever the car is parked. Here are some old and new pics of the interior. Good luck! =Ricky=
